- Cope and Associates Realty and Auction will abide by all State and Federal Firearm Laws.
- These are the requirements to bid and rules of the sale. FFL Dealer onsite for sale.
- If you are a licensed FFL dealer, we must complete an FFL EZ Check (fflezcheck.atf.gov) prior to sale. Must currently be in business. Must be in good standing. Buyer may leave with purchased weapons.
- Non-FFL dealers must complete and pass a background check prior to pick up. CASH OR CARD. Background checks can be done on site or by appointment. Purchased weapons may not leave the site until background check has been completed.
- Background Ck Fee: $10. Transfer Fees: First Gun – $25/ Second gun $20/Third gun is $15 – each additional gun is $10 each. No Refunds.
- No background check needed for cap and ball, or guns built prior to 1889.
- Out of state buyers purchasing handguns must have them shipped to FFL in their area for pickup. Buyer will be responsible for shipping, handling, and insurance fees. ($40)
- All purchases are subject to the gun laws of state in which buyer resides.
- Buyer must register gun in their name.
- Older guns should be inspected by a gunsmith prior to firing.
- All guns must be paid for prior to the background check and transfer. Checks can be conducted onsite with paid invoice or by appt later with paid invoice.
- Under 21 cannot purchase a handgun.
- 18-21 can purchase a long gun, however, it can take up to 10 business days for the background check to be approved.
- IF YOU CAN NOT PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
Buyer must schedule a time to transfer guns IF unable to pick up on sale day. FFL background checks will be done onsite.
Announcements day of sale take precedence over printed/published materials.
