Doug is thrilled to work alongside his wife, Bania, who is also a Broker in our office, as they help clients navigate the world of real estate with integrity and dedication.
Doug and Bania made the move to Robertson County in 2020 after Doug retired from a distinguished 30-year career in Los Angeles County Law Enforcement. Starting as a Patrol Officer, Doug rose through the ranks to serve as the “Interim Police Chief” before retiring at the rank of Captain. Throughout his career, Doug was recognized for his courage and commitment, earning both a “Life Saving Medal” and a “Meritorious Service Medal” for conspicuous bravery.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Union University, and his expertise extends to “Crime Prevention through Environmental Design.” Over the years, he has worked with homeowners and business owners to assess and improve property security, helping them safeguard their assets against theft and other risks.
Outside of work, Doug is an active member of the Springfield Rotary Club, enjoys antiquing with Bania, and has a passion for off-roading, competitive pistol shooting, and outdoor activities. Doug is also an avid animal lover, raising chickens and sharing his home with 2 Belgian Malinois, 3 Brussels Griffons and a Cava-poo. Doug and Bania are proud parents of two adult children, in addition to their beloved fur-babies.
